All you need to know about craigslist.org

Sure, eBay is undoubtedly one of the most popular sites on the Internet today by allowing people from all corners of the earth to auction their belongings on the Internet to earn some cash. However, there are other lesser known sites that are probably just as important out there as they too would help to improve our experience in the online world. For example there are certain "databases" around the Internet that catalogue a huge amount of information that helps us find what we want much faster. One such site would definitely be Craigslist.

For those of you who haven't heard of it, you obviously haven't been using the Internet long enough. Just like eBay, it was founded back in year 1995 - more than a decade ago. It basically catalogues a huge amount of information on the net and keeps them all very organised. Craigslist is essentially (as Wikipedia describes it) a centralized network of online communities, featuring free classified advertisements (with jobs, internships, housing, personals, for sale/barter/wanted, services, community, gigs, resume, and pets categories) and forums on various topics.

What's interesting to note is that Craigslist is in fact principally owned by a few companies, and among them is actually eBay, which is believed to own around one quarter of Craiglist. Considering how the revenue for the site in year 2006 was rumoured to be around 25 million dollars, it's not hard to tell why eBay would decide to purchase part of the company as well. It has become an extremely important and prominent site, even though it's surrounded by millions and billions of other sites.

For those who are interested in finding out more about Craigslist, I would highly recommend checking out a few sites out there which offer interesting information about Craigslist. One such site would be Craigslist Info (http://craigslistinfo.info/) which not only documents a large portion of the company's history, but also offers plenty of valuable tips about Craigslist. It offers information on simple things such as how to use the site in the first place to the probably more "advanced" features of Craigslist such as dating, housing, marketing, making money and even advertising on the site itself.

Craigslist has been around almost as long as the Internet has been and it's obviously not going away anytime soon. For those of you who have not heard of it and do not know what it's about, I would suggest that you check out Craigslist Info as soon as possible to find out all about it as the craigslist information it contains is much more extensive than one would find on a simple blog post. All in all, Craigslist Info will probably answer most of the queries you have about this decade old database site.

I keep hearing one or the other seller frustrated from eBay because they pulled their auction listing. It is very easy to violate an eBay listing guideline without knowing, the first you’ll learn about it is when you receive an email from eBay. http://www.infyecommercesolution.com/
